We have provided an array of test materials that you can use to design your own exams for each section in the book. These include quotation identification, short answer, and essays. Feel free to pick and choose which questions you would like to include in your own exam. An answer key is available for download below each sample test.
Overview for answer keys
As instructors ourselves, we realize that good answers from a social theory student are rarely “canned”; instead, answers ideally demonstrate a thorough grasp and creative application of the material. As such, the following are meant less as definitive answers than as helpful guideposts are parameters to ease the important but arduous task of grading exams. We know that, ultimately, you are the best judge of your students’ answer quality.
